🛠️ ink!Hub proposal passed through OpenGov 🛠️ We’re happy to say that the proposal for ink!Hub, developer tooling co-created with Astar and Phala, has been approved! This is a cross-team initiative to support developer teams building using ink! with a set of tools to streamline their building processes. The approval of OpenGov shows the strength of ink! and points to an exciting future! The core team behind Aleph Zero, Cardinal Cryptography, will now focus on further development of DRink!, a de-chained version of the ink! playground that allows for building on Aleph Zero and other ink!-based blockchains without the need to set up your own nodes. The biggest benefit is simplifying the development process and designing a smoother experience overall. This means that developers in the ecosystem will now be onboarded quicker, can build faster, and deploy their apps easily. We’re humbled by all the support! 🆇 Like and repost 🗳️ Results

🗓️ Week 36 & 37: EFP projects picking up steam, idOS goes public 🗓️ The last fortnight has been a great period of progress for Aleph Zero! We’ve had two EFP grantees reach new milestones: 👉Gatenox integrated the Aleph Zero blockchain, dApps and exchanges with Gatenox Hub; 👉Aleph Zero Metamask Snap reached their next milestone, entering the audit stage and bringing the product closer to its launch. Our Ledger app is still in the audit stage. Soon, you'll be able to stake, use nomination pools, and interact with contracts through Ledger hardware wallets. Meanwhile, we have a brand new project in the ecosystem Kintsu! Kintsu is a liquid staking protocol soon to go live on Aleph Zero as a participant in the EFP. Led by Stephen Novenstern, former Head of Strategy at Pangolin (one of the largest DEXs in the Avalanche ecosystem), and joined by experienced developers from RedHat, Kintsu aims to enable liquid staking for the Aleph Zero ecosystem. We’re thrilled to have this use-case on board! We recently announced our involvement in an open-source, decentralized, and composable identity layer for Web3 with privacy-enhancement. We’re co-creating the project with Fractal, Kwil, NEAR and Gnosis. At its core, idOS is a dStorage Network of Nodes and an access management protocol which seeks to enable a user-owned internet. We’ve also teased a refreshed vision for Common which became a suite of products instead of just being a DEX. Newly announced features include a DEX aggregator, privacy-enhanced order book and compliance powered by integrations with Coinfirm and idOS. The European Blockchain Convention is the next event where we’ll showcase the broader Aleph Zero ecosystem. Come to Barcelona on October 24th–26th to meet the teams! We’ll be at Poland 2.0 Summit in Warsaw on the 22nd and 23rd if you happen to be in the city, come say “Hi”! 🆇 Like and repost 👀 Learn more about idOS 🪙 Check out the new Common teaser

🎉 The Mainnet just got more decentralized 🎉 Hey everyone, Following the conclusion of a two-week-long testing phase, the Aleph Zero Mainnet has been updated. The block-producing committee has expanded to 50 randomly selected validators. Note that the total pool of Aleph Zero validators is nearing 130! This development signifies a pivotal move towards decentralization, placing more power and responsibility in the hands of the community. Of the 50 validators forming the committee, only 10 are represented by the Aleph Zero Foundation. We are now just two significant milestones away from achieving complete decentralization. The decentralization of block finalization and the introduction of on-chain governance are next on our agenda. These advancements will be realized once the network has fully matured, with the implementation of Liminal, dapp ecosystem, and the establishment of a robust bridging infrastructure. Stay engaged!
